The Faculty of Education at PUST gives you the opportunity to gain knowledge of teaching, learners and curriculum, engage in professional practice in schools, and become part of the teaching profession in Somalia and the region at large. You will be able to hone skills such as communication, critical thinking, planning and design for learning, and develop comprehensive competence so that you go on to become an attentive and adaptable educator who meets the needs and aspirations of all learners. Our Faculty of Education is endorsed in Puntland higher education. You will meet Puntland teaching standards and will be eligible to apply for registration and certification with the Puntland Ministry of education.
